Karen Saunders, an experienced artist and instructor, will guide you through the process of creating stunning 2-D art on canvas using a diverse range of materials. Unleash your imagination as you experiment with things like Sharpie markers, oil pastels, chalk, tissue paper, rice paper and various paints! Discover the joy of combining different elements to craft unique and visually captivating floral compositions. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner exploring your creative side, "Wild Florals!" offers a welcoming space for artistic expression and collaboration. Join us for a dynamic and inspiring workshop that promises to bring the beauty of flowers to life on canvas. Discover, Learn, Create: Workshop Highlights In this low-key class, limited to just 8 seats, you'll explore: ● Using a variety of materials to create a 2-D artwork. ● Letting go and loosening up! ● Composing a non-traditional still life using real flowers. ● Making joyful marks and playing while you create! Class Structure: ● Session 1: March 18, Noon to 3 p.m. - Exploration of materials and techniques and using various mark-making materials along with rice paper, tissue paper, and Mod Podge to create the basis of your composition. ● Session 2: March 25, Noon to 3 p.m. - Tweak and refine your designs using various mark making and painting techniques. Cost: ● Total cost is $65 which includes your class fee of $50 and materials fee of $15. Secure your spot now for this playfully creative class!
