Sad story. I haven't been able to use my easel since we moved here. I'm on those eaels we use in class. We don't have our own studio yet on our property so mine is tighly packed into the corner of my office. Booooo! We are building a two-story studio, though. Starting the process now, so stay tuned! Those corpses are so cold that they probably haven't rotted yet! Love the combination of Bob's "Northern Lights" with your own twist. I'm so glad you are still painting without us to prod you along. Self-motivation is such a great thing! I really love this a lot.

I love, love, love it! I totally see Bob's influence in the techniques. You must have learned that somewhere! Yay! and how fun!

It was a nice touch reflecting the lights into the water, since that would happen in real life. It was difficult for Bob to get those types of small details into a painting he was doing in 27 minutes, but details like that make the painting more interesting and engaging. Very nice!

Well, we make a lot of mistakes so we try a lot of things! We definitely shared this piece because we have used some of them, or all of, frankly for various paintings over the years. You can check out our YouTube channel (@artpartyunlimited) for what I hope you will find will be helpful to you!

Good input, but to be clear for everyone else you can apply gesso only over acrylics, not over oils no matter how thoroughly you have cleaned the canvas. If you need to reprime a canvas you salvaged from oils we suggest repriming with and oil paint. Fluxx69's comment are excellent for repurposing an a canvas for an acrylic painting.
